THE PURPOSE

A working room.
Not a sales room.

Private boardroom conversation. Candid financial work. Practical decisions about your future—not a six-hour pitch.

The proposed format combines short presentations with mostly facilitated working discussion. You can explore a partnership, prepare first, or decide to continue independently.

Illustrative valuation is not an investment or exit promise. Company enterprise value and your personal net proceeds are different numbers.

The places your business relies on you most.

  3. 03

    Readiness scorecard

A practical view of business-value readiness.

THE COMPLETE PROPOSED PROGRAM

A day to work on
what comes next.

Breakfast through the boardroom, followed by a private dinner. All times below are proposed agenda times.

  1. 8:00–8:30

    Private Breakfast & Introductions

Brief personal introductions. Each owner shares what they have built and what they want it to make possible.

“What have you built, and what do you want it to make possible?”
  2. 8:30–9:15

What Do You Want Your Next Chapter to Look Like?

Your desired role, income needs, timeline and nonnegotiables. Family, employees, identity and control all belong in the conversation.

    Working output: Personal next-chapter statement

  3. 9:15–10:15

Would Your Company Work Without You?

Examine decisions, customer relationships, recruiting, pricing, finance and daily execution.

“If you stepped away for 90 days, what would break?”

Working output: Top 3 owner dependencies

  4. 10:15–10:30

    Break

  5. 10:30–11:45

    What Have You Actually Built?

Earnings quality, management, concentration, reporting, recurring business and consistency. Illustrative valuation keeps company enterprise value distinct from the owner’s net proceeds after debt, taxes and transaction costs.

    Working output: Business-value readiness scorecard

  6. 11:45–12:30

Working Lunch: An Owner Who Has Been There

A candid conversation with an operator who has stepped back, partnered or sold. Direct questions, not a polished sales story. Guest participation is proposed; no speaker is confirmed.

  7. 12:30–1:30

    Your Options—and Their Tradeoffs

Continue independently with management, pursue internal succession, consider a strategic partnership or an outright sale. Compare control, workload, liquidity, upside and obligations.

Working output: Preferred path and questions

  8. 1:30–2:30

    What Could This Company Become?

Future leadership, operating support, technician development, finance visibility and owner responsibilities. A worked example with explicit assumptions—not promised results.

Working output: 24–36 month future-state picture

  9. 2:30–2:45

    Break

  10. 2:45–3:45

Inside the Partnership: How It Would Actually Work

Platform services, local owner rights, decisions, performance, fees, equity, capital, accountability and exit. Unresolved terms will be labeled clearly and discussed transparently.

Unresolved terms: Not all partnership terms are finalized. Discussion does not establish an agreement.

  11. 3:45–4:30

    The Hard Questions Boardroom

Missed targets, disagreements, employee disruption and when not to partner. A candid space to surface what still needs answering.

    Working output: Open concerns

  12. 4:30–5:00

    Choose Your Next Move

Build a personal 90-day action plan: explore partnership, prepare first or continue independently. A confidential fit-and-financial review is only for interested owners.

Working output: Personal 90-day action plan

  13. 6:00–8:00

    Private Founder Dinner

Legacy, family, leadership and life after daily operations. No pitch. Dinner and founder attendance remain proposed, not confirmed.

“Five years from now, what would make you proud of the decision you started considering today?”

NO QUESTIONS OFF THE TABLE

Hard Questions
We Welcome

Not all terms are finalized yet. They must be discussed transparently, including where there is no answer or agreement today.

  • Decisions the owner retains or cedes
  • Downside performance
  • Operating changes
  • Employees and local brands
  • Fees, distributions, reinvestment and future proceeds
  • Disagreement and exit rights

A SMALL ROOM. THE RIGHT CONVERSATION.

Who should attend / Qualification

The pilot is proposed for 6–10 qualified companies. Qualification is a conversation about fit—not a commitment to a partnership or transaction.

Before the session

  1. Complete the owner application.
  2. Have a brief qualification call.
  3. Prepare privately: revenue, approximate operating profit, headcount, owner responsibilities and desired future role.

Owner attendance is required. A co-owner, spouse or key operator may join as appropriate.

Privacy and participation

Financial disclosure is voluntary. Participants are expected to keep the discussion confidential: no recording or sharing other owners’ information.

A paid seat or meaningful deposit is under consideration—not final. No payment is taken here.

The room format

One boardroom / U-shaped setup. Nameplates, workbooks and a shared screen. Short presentations; mostly facilitated working discussion.
